Quick question on unlocks

For the deal damage 10k, 20k, 30k, etc. with weapon to unlock achievements, does the weapon's upgraded form count? Or do I need it to remain as a base weapon?

Since weapons change name when evolved, I think they no longer meet the requirement from then on.

I may be wrong though, it's been a while since I've unlocked those.

It needs to stay the named weapon at lest that the case for Alucart Sworb.
