Plus, probably a lot of people just didn't watch the trailer? Or didn't watch it that closely? Or, just aren't a big Castlevania nerds, and so didn't really know who they were looking at enough to go "hey, hang on, where are X and Y?" when they got into the game.
Exactly this! I was satisfied with my time with the DLC, had my fun for the money, was expecting some cleanup post-game stuff for the remaining unlocks and then, BAM, they hit you with so much stuff.
Said it before, and I'll say it again; the Vampire Survivors devs are super generous, and I appreciate it.
