Rock riot will not evolve

I got Rock riot and the stonemask. Both on max level, but it don't evolve?! Is that a bug or do i miss something? do i have to evolve them with a specific char?

Should be fine but the evolve chests feel a lot rarer.

i played multiple runs. at the time all weapons are on max level and all (except rock riot) are evolved the chests don't give me more levels to anything. they give just money. it feels like i am missing something or that it is broken or a bug.

It evolved for me on my first run of the new map as Bat Robbert. It's the only new weapon I've evolved so far. Might be broken for some users.

Did you accidentally seal the evolution in the collection men by accident?
Because you can seal things you haven't collected yet.

try with a boss chest

finally it got evolved. i played with alucard (till then i played sigma). maybe it is bounded to the new chars. thanks for your help

did you have the stone mask maxed?

All the book weapons require the combo item to be at max level like the clock and laurel items in base game.

Also not sure but I think 1 of the grey chests from the wave mob bosses is bugged and wont evolve weapons.
