This is the plan, but I am waiting for Hato to give me the all-clear since editing becomes impossible I'm pretty sure. Rather be safe and make sure that its how they want it
If you wait until 30 minutes before entering the doppelganger room, the reaper gets deleted(not killed, no eggs drop - unsure if it counts for the unlock rerquirement) The timer is paused while you fight the doppelganger and afterwards there is no reaper. A new one spawns every minute though so you only have a little respite

I'm not sure if this helps, but when I got it I was running Soul Drain. Given the wording for the secret, that would add up.
Skelemari on Bone Zone can eat Red Death for example.
But zero competing damage sources and one attempt to unlock.
If I had to do it again, I might've turned off Limit Break and considered Pentagram (no LB so it doesn't chain fire and infinitely level-up as Gorgeous Moon).
You need all of the DLC items included in the Coat of Arms on a single character, I believe.
