How to farm gold for my first eggs?

Some explanation:
Found some guides, but as i can see it all starts with few hundred eggs already
I dont want to pay for dlc to farm

DONT advice sigma, i want to get gold before i ready to close game!

I never play with eggs active to preserve a modicum of challenge. Quickly realized that after the first attemts at billions of golds for eggs. You dont need dlc to farm.

thanks for advice, got Big Trouser and made run, instead common 10-14k earned 22k, it makes sense but not as much as i expected

also i now can buy seal upgrade and it cost even more than eggs, how i can reach 50-100k per run?

Sounds like you are doing it wrong. You should be getting a lot more gold out of it. Look for guides.

Honestly , You really don't need the eggs , you are better off spending money to get all your passive meta progression if you don't have it already, depending on the order you buy them in you can save a lot of gold.

Once you get eggs you character becomes god and the game becomes pointless, nothing can kill you , you just sit there and kill everything.

One thing I will say is the DLC are really great , even if you don't want them for farming they are very good just for the content. It's like 7 bucks to get all of them.

Some of my favorite levels , characters and weapons are from the DLC's and I don't even farm gold , it's just cool to have more build options.

every single guide i saw:
already have all arcanas or all unwanted items disabled or begin with "take sigma"

to get gold i need disco of gold arcana
to get arcana i need live for 31 min, so i should survive reaper
to survive reaper i need gold

Nah you are putting the cart before the horse here. Farming gold is an endgame thing, that is why all the guides are telling you to do things you can't do yet.

That's not how you survive for 31 minutes , you just need to kill death.

To kill death you just need to get yellow sign and then combined the 2 rings and Clock lancet (laurel and 2 capes can help too). Once you have the items combined death is a joke.

You should follow the "unlocks" menu on the main screen , the unlocks it is telling you to do are things that will lead you to the end game.

wrong, got access to endless mode, tried and viola it counts as survive 31 min in library, disco of gold done before killing death

i think it exactly how its supposed to work, there is no sense to farm with sigma and/or all things unlocket, literally no reason for gold after obtain everything

while tried endless mode i also tried to collect setup for killing death, managed to collect everything by the 38th minute, idk how to get in time

You can get around 1 billion gold in 45 min.

• Choose the "Sammy" character and limit to 1 weapon
  
• Choose the "Space 54" stage, with "Arcana", "Limit Breaks", and "Endless Mode" turned on.
  
• Choose "Disco of Gold (XV)" for your first Arcana
  
• Choose "Wicked Season (XIII)" for your second Arcana
  
• 3rd Arcana doesn't matter, I went with "Beginning (X)"
  
• For your passives, get "Stone Mask" and "Crown"
  
• Other passives don't really matter, but I think cursed items will prob farm faster, so like "Torrona's Box", "Skull O'Maniac". I finished mine out with "Attractorb" and "Spinach"
  
• Then grab the 2 passives from the stage ("Empty Tome" and "Candelabrador")
  
• Skip grabbing the stage weapon "Phas3r" (You want your limit breaks to land on Sammy's "Vicious Hunger")
  
• Once you max everything, set your limit breaks to "Random Always"
  
• Watch in amazement as you reach level 10,000+ with over 1,000,000,000 coins in around 45 min

That's it, pretty easy. It does start to have some performance problems, but not too bad. I picked "Space 54" because it has so many pickups, but I'm not sure if that is optimal. Once you are level 400+ go grab the 2 "Gold Fingers", you easily can get them to Cosmic level. One annoying thing about this, is once your Disco of Gold counter at the bottom gets around half a million, the text is so gigantic it takes up half the screen.

(NOTE: The only parts of this that are really "required" would be: having "Sammy", having "Limit Breaks", and having the "Disco of Gold (XV)" Arcana unlocked. With those 3 things you can still get millions of gold even if you have not unlocked the other stuff yet.
Sammy is DLC so yes this would require having "Tides of the Foscari", however I also think this would work with any character if you limit them to 2 weapons and get "Gatti Amari" as your second weapon. Your limit breaks would just be split.)

Op, i think you are fundamentally misunderstanding about eggs. You shouldnt think at all about them if you dont have all unlocks.

Yeah I was confused at what point of the game OP was at , they said stuck on capella magna but now I guess they have endless mode ? I dunno , I'm glad they finally got it one way or another.

Early on you can farm gold by using that cheeky method to get an early minute 31 in library for the arcana, later on you can try to keep death frozen and then kill him , and you should be able to stretch that out to minute 31 without using exploits if you time it right (I got it by accident as a noob just trying to kill death without endless corridor)

There is also endless mode but if you already have endless mode unlocked it should be easy to get to minute 31 since to unlock endless you need to do everything else and beat the final boss.

Basically there are a few methods so just do whatever works, I would say trying to farm eggs or gold too early is just going to ruin the game for you but if you already have endless mode then you don't have much else left to do.

The DLC is actually good for that "nothing left to do" problem , it's got lot's of stuff to unlock , secrets, characters , new stuff to try , farming for gold is not the main purpose of the DLCs , they aren't pay to win or something like that , they are actually fun to play just for the content.

Yup - and that's exactly the point of eggs existing in the first place: to give players something that kinda looks like progress to grind for after they're done with everything else. Or at least a colossal sink for the billions of gold they accumulated even just playing the game naturally.

Hardcore grinding of eggs during normal progression is definitely not something that's needed - or that I'd ever personally think of suggesting.

Anyway I'm not here to accuse anyone of having badwrongfun, so I do have a tip: max that Curse powerup (or at least increase it as much as you can handle) if you want to level up faster and/or to more easily collect the items needed to kill Death before the 30 minutes mark.
