Hectic highway, can't pick anything up (Hectic highway spoilers)

Well, I can, but not chests. They go behind me. And there is a question mark in the opposite direction my character is moving. Been at it 20 minutes and no loop, am I doing something wrong? Do you need to do this one in mirror or something specific like that?

Seems like you can't play the stage on inverse or else the ? is impossible to get. As for chests, I'm pretty sure you can't ever get those. Stage is kinda sucky.

So I think inverse just doesn't loop correctly.

You need to hold left to slow down on the regular stage, eventually the ? will catch up to you.

That stage loops after some time in it. When it loops, all pickups dropped will be pushed forward.
You can keep holding right to make the character reach the loop point faster, just do be careful not to miss again the chest, or else you'll need to pass through the loop again for another chance.

Anyways, reaching the loop on that stage is kinda worser than reaching the finishing line in Carlo's Cart, from what I see, so might need quite some walk before you reach it.
