New Phas3r Weapon Produces Familiar Tune

It just occurred to me when I first tried the Phas3r weapon that it plays the tune to "I Feel Love" by Donna Summer / Blue Man Group (which is cool) and I wanted to write this post for some confirmation in case others wondered the same.

Phas3r's drum beat that increases in speed as you level it actually reminds me of the hand drum from The Karate Kid II and in extension Cobra Kai too...

Phas3r plays the same song that plays when you open a chest (easier to notice when you pick up the goldfinger and get reduced cooldown) but I like your idea.

Edit- Tried listening to it in game again and you are totally right , the photonstorm upgrade music is what I was thinking of , before you upgrade it it's harder to notice because it shoots more random but it totally does sound like the song you mentioned https://youtu.be/yEbaeLv-aOo considering how popular disco is in Italy I wouldn't be surprised if Poncle was a Donna summer fan , that is so cool , good ear noticing it.

Thanks guys, that was doing my head in what that song could be! I was thinking more along the lines of Jean-Michel Jarré, but it's definitely Donna Summer!

Absolutely! I forgot to mention in the original post that it's much easier to discern the tune with the Photonstorm upgrade.
