When can I start gold farming?

A lot of guides I find are so advanced I don't even know what they're talking about. I just wanna know what the minimum I need is to start doing this so I can aim for that minimum first. Is there a super beginner guide?

I don't think we have any super beginner guides floating around currently.

I think it depends on where you're at in the game. Do you have queen sigma unlocked?

There are no quick ways to earn gold, at least at the beginning. You will have to play various maps with the characters, unlock new ones and in the meantime enhance the passive skills that you find in the initial menu... unlock new weapons and evolutions etc.
Once this is done it will then become easier to farm gold with the various characters.

To start, the library is not bad for earning gold since you can find the "mask" skill which increases greed and therefore the gold obtained, but if I remember correctly, to see the objects on the map you will first have to find a specific relic.

*Most maps have one or more relics to find.

Library is great early on. Its linearity makes it easy, and it has the mask for extra gold. If you can get to a point where you are leveling up faster than the max powerups and weapons, you can get gold every level after (unless you choose chicken when your health is low, because the choice is between gold or chicken).

Moongolow + Disco of Gold Arcana then going for high AoE/exploding weapons works well

Thanks, I do not have her. I just finished getting the gold and silver rings and that red cloak thing. I just finished getting all the arcanas as well and have my passives maxed out (except for curse). I'm just going through unlocks one at a time now. I have 151 unlocks currently.

Thanks, I do not have her. I just finished getting the gold and silver rings and that red cloak thing. I just finished getting all the arcanas as well and have my passives maxed out (except for curse). I'm just going through unlocks one at a time now. I have 151 unlocks currently.

This. Reroll and Seal are stupid powerful. But more importantly... is Limit Break unlocked? If you manage to have Limit Break unlocked, Sammy can generate millions in seconds.

You shouldn't use Limit Break when playing as Sammy, you can make a lot more gold with a run that doesn't crash after a few minutes.
