I broke Sammy :(

If the intent is that I'm being punished for my greed then well done devs. Well done.
I bought too many golden eggs for Sammy and now he is broken. within a minute of starting a new round with Eggs enabled the game becomes unplayabley slow, measurable in frames per minute, and we are talking single digits.

I'd like to request a feature that lets you choose the number of active eggs based on maximum you currently have available.
So for example: If you have over 12,000 Golden Eggs for any given character, you can set the number of eggs to 1,000

Playing Sammy with Golden Eggs is already overkill, he doesn't need any of them to be the best character to start seriously farming gold with.

Though it's not the solution you suggested, you can go to Moongolow so long as you have 5,000 or more eggs on the current character (with or without them active), and get rid of them for free at The Healer to the south.

It gets rid of about 100 each for each click, so you can just drop the egg amount down to something reasonable to make Sammy playable again.

That's a lot of clicks, to be sure. . .though I've been using an auto-clicker for eggs anyways, which has been tremendously helpful. If you want to fix your Trouser, I'd recommend getting one, they're free and easy to use.

Once you reach 5k eggs, you can go up in Moongolow where there is an NPC that will allow you to buy the maximum amount of eggs you can afford.
