could you use "Gemini" or would that count as having more weapons. Also, would fusing the two starting guns of Pugnala still count as one weapon or?

Just pick the arcana: Silent old Sanctuary. You don't have to think too much about picking strong weapons if you start with that arcana.

I beat it by picking the character that starts with the Lightning Ring and then the Arcana that stops you from levelling up.

The easest way to survive a minute is laurel and evolve it.
Clock and laurel unevolved works too.
