Adventure
On the third adventure. Last thing to do - last 30 mins with Menya. Shrine Valley SEEMS to be the easiest, but I've not got beyond 29:15 after many attempts. I know you probably need the 3 revives arcana, the crown for XP, Victory Sword is great but trying the evolution is too risky; I've had a couple of attempts at <6 weapons, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Anyone completed this quest?

I actually wasn't able to make shrine valley work, and ended up looping hidden cave three times instead.

Hidden Cave is a 10min map... loop it 3 times to get 30mins? How does that work? Endless mode?

I did it on the final level. Mostly used basic weapons you get from the adventure itself, didn't unlock tons of stuff because I didn't want to make it too easy and didn't want to make the item pool too big when leveling up. Did use Bible though.

Anyhow, not exactly sure which weapons I exactly used other than that and Four Seasons. I think the cross because I needed a weapon for enemies close to me. Might have used the beads. May also have gotten the frost sword at some point. Laurel also I think. Also went for Awake arcana for the revivals because I kept dying early on once or twice.

Ending was a bit on the tough side. I used some clocks I kept laying around to drag things out a bit. 28 minutes I was still able to hold off enemies, 29 minutes was when I needed to put my dodging skills to the test. Still survived with 1 revival left over (also went for that tiragisu item early in the run). I think with the evolved frost sword also more clocks are dropped. And I also had the clover upgrade with 50% extra luck from that (which I needed anyhow to evolve the cross).

Yeah, I used endless mode. It only has three enemies and one of them is a boss. It can be a bit touchy, but it was where I had the most luck. Though, the way I play probably doesn't do me many favors since I do absolutely no merchant purchases and usually do solo-weapon. Doing the final stage with only Legacy of Moonspell weapons got me killed just barely at the end of the timer. Though it might go better if I tried again since I have a few ascensions I could put into growth.

It's definitely been consistently the hardest thing for me to do with adventure mode right now.

If you're not intent on just using the weapons the adventure gives you by default, I'd suggest trying Bible, Garlic, and Wind rod (still leaving you two additional weapon choices and passives). These will help to create a 'death zone' around you that also provides you with healing. Beads wouldn't be a bad addition either. You'll already want Spinach and Candle for Seasons evo, so you could easily add either Axe or Flame wand. Plus you can still add 'extra' passives like the cooldown Tome and/or Duplicator.

The 'area' arcana would be a strong addition to all of those (make sure to pick it as your first to get max benefit from leveling for it). I'd then suggest getting the revives and healing arcanas.

You shouldn't really need the crown (even without investment in growth) to max everything out. I believe the flowers near the top of the mountain path to the frozen lake can be a good place to farm xp if you need to.

If you've got the time to spare (focus on leveling you equipment first), you might even attempt to pick up the Night sword on the map (but be careful, enemies will mob you in that area around it. Wait at the edge of the 'mob zone' until your invincibility triggers and rush 'in-and-out'. I'd personally probably leave it unevolved. And/or getting the silver ring/left wing. Playing on Hyper will generally help.

side note: This build can actually also be a fun build for onii-chan (?), the armadillo-ish (or whatever it is) character.

I did it with with Blood Astronomia arcana, garlic/song of mana/clock lancet/laurel/(whatever, I picked santa water). Pick Attractorb ASAP as it will be a huge AOE fast if leveled first. Then pick evolve items or duplicator. If your weapons are leveled enough by the time second arcana pops, Mad Groove will get you all the power ups for evolves without ever having to move. Warning: Do not accept Night sword, or if you do, do NOT EVOLVE, it will break your sheilds and kill you. Thats pretty much it, because the second you evolve lancet & laurel you are basically immortal.

Huff, finally completed all 3 adventures. The first one Garlic adventure is the worst and mindnumbingly boring. the last two is a lot more interesting and much better done.
