Nduja missing in capella to unlock Cosmo

I am trying to unlock Cosmo Pavone (Ho-Oh), I have all prerequisited:

- Got Yellow Sign
- Unlocked Belpaese
- Use one of the many 0 egg characters
- Peachone + Ebony Wings as weapons

But the darn Nduja pickup is not spawning... I saw it many times when I did not beat the Ender yet but now it simly is gone... does anybody know what's going on?

I suspect you did not complete all the criteria
To unlock Cosmo, the player must have already collected the Yellow Sign and unlocked Zi'Assunta Belpaese by opening her coffin. Then the player must enter Cappella Magna with a character with 0 eggs as part of the "pure heart" requirement. (note: toggling eggs off will not count as having "0 eggs")

In Cappella Magna, the player must then collect Peachone and Ebony Wings. After obtaining them, go north beyond the Crown and Tiragisú where a Nduja Fritta Tanto can be found by a balcony. Collecting the Nduja Fritta when all of the above conditions are met spawns Cosmo on the balcony and the gate blocking it is removed. Cosmo can then be collected as a flash similar to Rosary appears.

Alternately, if The Ender has not yet been defeated, activating the Ender battle while standing near the balcony causes all the walls and gates to disappear, and you can walk over and collect Cosmo immediately after the battle.

Did you kill the Ender? Its likely whats holding you back.

Also, of course I beat the Ender, how would you bring the yellow sign without defeating him in the first place...

You are sure you picked a character with 0 eggs and did not just disable them?

Odd. I just tested it with Queen Sigma and the Nduja Fritta was there. Granted, I already unlocked the birb, so it seems to be an issue with your game not seeing the yellow sign? Have you had steam check the install files integrity? Was this posted after you beat Ender but before you restarted the game? Sometimes simply restarting can make the game recognize unlocks. If all else fails, you can always cast the "lhovistoio" spell.

Yes, I integrity checked already.
No I beat the Ender several days/restarts ago.
I really would like to avoid any of the cheat codes if possible...

Could it be that you have to unlock this character after beating Ender but before beating the Directer?? Because I just now realised that all stage pickups vanished, like the rosaries...

Yes, I integrity checked already.
No I beat the Ender several days/restarts ago.
I really would like to avoid any of the cheat codes if possible...

That explains it, you accidentally turned off displaying pickups in options.

No, this option only shows/hides the yellow arrows at the borders of your screen to hint nearby pickups, the map is unaffected by this.


Anyway... I went to unlock 2 other characters and now the rosaries and the nduja are back in the capella... very odd

You are looking at the wrong button, not guides, but pickups. Click the pickup button and it hides and reveals pickups on the map.

Guides shows the hint arrows you are talking about.

Hmm seems you are right, I did not touch these options ever tho, also the pickups did not exist when I went there, very strange. Thank you anyway!

IF you use a controller its too easy to accidentally hit the wrong button. Done it plenty of times myself, turning off pickups or guides.
