Granted, it is a bug/glitch, but I think it's still left in because it's not really a major issue.
A bug by videogame definition is something unexpected that happens to a videogame WITHOUT a player knowing about its existence.
The fact YOU decided to try and go out of bounds using wall clipping to go off the bridge's path in Tiny bridge to look for a non-existent upper/lower section invalidates the fact you stumbled upon a "Bug" in the game.
So the game itself encouraged my "exploration." If I had tried to to scale down the bridge leg without Disco of Gold active then I wouldn't have been able to go down and said, "oh ok, yep the level is just left/right." But my first attempt allowed me to go down and so I thought it was still part of the level. I thought it was a clever part of the map that would allow me to reach the ground or river bed or something and was proud of myself for finding it. I didn't go out of my way doing crazy crap like folks who do try to glitch games.
So "A bug by videogame definition is something unexpected that happens to a videogame WITHOUT a player knowing about its existence" As you say is exactly what happened. Thanks for proving my point for me even though you were clearly trying to be clever and call me an idiot.
Whatever happens to you when you decide to clip out of bounds is your responsibility.
Pretty much. Meanwhile, an exploit is the usage of the tools the game gives the player in an unintended way.
I just wanted to help out and report what I thought might be a bug in case he considered it a worth fixing, or something. If anything, an instant death outside the 30 minute mark so the match at least ends.
Thanks for the comments. Didn't mean to make this a huge issue.
It is a bug, and it is not really a big issue. There are limits to the programming and you broke them with run speed. This is not something that can't be realistically fixed because even without eggs this can happen, but eggs almost guarantee it. Don't feel bad because some overzealous white-knighters type silly things.
