Having trouble getting 100K in a single run with Genevieve
I always managed to only get to the 80k range. It seems, particularly in later levels, that I get tons of large enemies who take forever to die and slow down the kill count. I usually focus on the Spellstring Trio, the Fuwalafuwaloo for heals, Festive Winds, and whatever else I feel like at the time.

Does leveling up "Charm" make a huge difference? Only have two points in that at the moment, with every other powerup maxed out. Any advice?

Charm is one of those newer powerups you need to max out ASAP as it's like a depowered Curse giving you increased spawn density without monsters getting higher stats.
Try turning on Endless for a level, then quit out manually in Options when you hit the big 100k, it'll unlock then

Failing that, more passives. Inlaid Library is pretty easy for it.

lots of curse, i managed to get it literally at 28+ minutes.
had every curse item. and evolved versions of all the foscari items (and la borra/fuluwafoo) as they are all powerful, and evolve from items found on the abyss map which gives the freedom to get quite a lot of passives.

make sure to ignore the spell string trio on the ground until you have all other weapon slots full (and combine any weapons that unite before grabbing them) that way you end up with 7 fully evolved weapons

If I remember right Festive Winds is bad, it knocks mobs out of screen in endgame so can't get kills from those.

Festive Winds is extremely strong, it only knocks enemies out of bounds if you reach a high level while using Boogaloo of Illusions.

I usually pick up the "Mad Grove" arcana early. That way all stage items are easy to access, if I want to acces them. Which is only after I have got all weapons and other items I am interested in. In case some of the stage-items are what you want early (like the crown or the orb) this also helps to get them right away. But the Arcana also piles up all other crap every two minutes so it helps wandering around and not worrying about picking everything right away to level up.
Then you start leveling your weapons, gather your items and maybe around 10-15m minutes you pick up the cursed items for ring+mantle and start leveling rings fast. You have then with the skull threee items to increase enemy spawn, while you should be strong enough to murder everything in the long run. It should be pretty easy to get the 100k needed, before the 30 minutes are over. You could also just activate Endless mode for the stage and stay around forever.

In a related note while doing that achievement on the Lake: Also go for the 6000 Sammy achievement. The hidden Sammy area is here extremely helpful

I managed to pull it off in Bat Country. I put it on endless, but I was at 100K around the 22 minute mark so it wasn't necessary. I was surprised how quickly it went up, but damn is it tricky to survive at first with Genevieve because there aren't a lot of destructibles to get healing from.
