What's the longest run time known? (not endless)

A friend of mine recently did a 30 minute run, but managed to keep it going, It's currently at 2256 minutes, and he's been streaming it on Twitch ever since he realized he wasn't dying, which has been... 39 hours. Dunno if that's any kind of significance since I don't play the game, but I figured I'd post and ask. He's Zantomun on Twitch if anyone wants to check and see the madness.

Haha that's insane! I saw some builds where you couldn't die as a lvl3 with Laurel. There were hundreds of reapers swarming him but he couldn't die. How's this guy pulling it off?

I'm not sure myself, you'd probably have to ask him directly. Definitely never seen anyone go for days at a time.

If 'not endless' is your only condition then literally any character with enough eggs will keep you going basically forever.

A no-egg build with Laurel, Clock Lancet and J'Odore is probably the best way to keep yourself alive for a long time. If you allow more cheese, there' some hidden characters that don't need eggs to stay alive.

If you reach -95% cooldown (silent old sanctuary, empty tome, eggs; Christine, Arca and Avatar have a cooldonwn bonus of their own) your laurel will recharge so fast you'll be literally invincible.

Thanks for the knowledge, might have to try out farming golden eggs with the reapers, i dont thinks its gonna be effective though

That only happens if you have the Evolved Laurel or Lancet, might also be the same with the unevolved versions, dont thing so though. Instead of the grey death appearing, one more death comes every minute

It's not. It's specific to the two evolved versions.

Did you even read the OP's Full title for this old thread as he did explicitly say NOT on Endless Mode!?

Also IIRC Dex holds one of the records for a long run that lasted several hours.

No the record for time survived is over a month, not held by Dex.

Since you can become permanently invincible rather easily, it's just a matter of how long you are willing to wait.

avatar inferno+laurel literally did me over 90 minutes with many reapers. other weapons and passives were random, don't even remember.
