Otherwise, stay away from him as much as possible to prevent anything spawning near him. He will absorb anything he hits and grow massive so stay away from him, evolve all your weapons and then run down. Try to kill stuff near him to prevent him from absorbing them if possible.
Otherwise come at it with a good AOE weapon set as most, if not all, skeletons who touch the ball will result in it healing and growing larger. Death Spiral and/or La Bora (evolved Ax and Holy Water) with the right combo of passives can work wonders with keeping the hordes of regular enemies at bay.
Second arcana, Tragic Princess, keep your DPS focused on the ball while using the gems only if he's near so you can try to be done with it as soon as possible.
If you're still not done and you have to choose a third arcana, I can recommand Melody to get all the items on the map and every pieces of orbs you couldn't take, grabbing silver ring and right arrow for some protection and more effect. Every 2 mins every single gem of xp will come fly towards you, giving you control on how you wanna spend them if you're struggling to end the ball.
Remember, the longer you are on the map the Harder it is to kill.
Once the timer hits 30 minutes and all the enemies except for Death disappear, you should be able to destroy Sketamari in mere seconds due to its small size, its inability to grow bigger or regenerate health, and your ability to easily cut down their health by half every time the Infinite Corridor is used.
But that's just how I did it. Having a few extra revives is also a good idea, as is selecting Red Death due to his high health and speed which should be enough to obtain all the necessary items in time and stay alive until the end.
