How to kill giant rolling skeleton ball?
I just had a 38 minute run (not even on endless mode somehow) and had enough dps to kill Death but not enough to kill skeleton ball...
is there an ideal weapon for this boss?

Take a char that starts with a good weapon (ie: Leda, Marrabbio) and run straight down to him.

Otherwise, stay away from him as much as possible to prevent anything spawning near him. He will absorb anything he hits and grow massive so stay away from him, evolve all your weapons and then run down. Try to kill stuff near him to prevent him from absorbing them if possible.

Your best bet if you're having trouble with him is to go after him with the evolved forms of the Laurel and Clock Lancet. Call it cheesy but it will work.

Otherwise come at it with a good AOE weapon set as most, if not all, skeletons who touch the ball will result in it healing and growing larger. Death Spiral and/or La Bora (evolved Ax and Holy Water) with the right combo of passives can work wonders with keeping the hordes of regular enemies at bay.

Dunno how it really works, if it regenerates HP if you aren't hitting it or something like that, but pretty much just evolve holy water and that's it, it will literally just get stuck unable to move past wherever it is and then just wait

i used the arcana that increases area +1 per level while -50%/+50% used a build with holy water, bible etc and just stood near him towards the 25 min mark, area was so big that most stuff was killed before it got to him and he was melted

If you're a Porta Ladonna enjoyer, take Game Killer as your first arcana thanks to her lvl 1 passive which grants Area +30% and Cooldown -90%. Purchase all the weapons avaiable from the shopkeeper and just run for it directly without wasting time.

Second arcana, Tragic Princess, keep your DPS focused on the ball while using the gems only if he's near so you can try to be done with it as soon as possible.

If you're still not done and you have to choose a third arcana, I can recommand Melody to get all the items on the map and every pieces of orbs you couldn't take, grabbing silver ring and right arrow for some protection and more effect. Every 2 mins every single gem of xp will come fly towards you, giving you control on how you wanna spend them if you're struggling to end the ball.

The Bonezone has the gimmic where the longer you stay alive the more life and other stats that the enemies get, the Bone ball has a good amount of hitpoints and after 10 minutes it may as well be invulnerable. This means the strategy is to rush it as early as possible. This is possible if you use Leda or any character who spawns with a High DPS weapon (Evolved or Not).

Remember, the longer you are on the map the Harder it is to kill.

Sketamari (the skeleton ball you're referring to) does not disappear after 30 minutes unlike every other enemy in the stage. This means, if you stay away from it for nearly the entire run and instead spend the rest of your time obtaining the necessary items for the Infinite Corridor and Crimson Shroud, you can just hang around near (but not too close to) the ? icon on the map until time is up.

Once the timer hits 30 minutes and all the enemies except for Death disappear, you should be able to destroy Sketamari in mere seconds due to its small size, its inability to grow bigger or regenerate health, and your ability to easily cut down their health by half every time the Infinite Corridor is used.

But that's just how I did it. Having a few extra revives is also a good idea, as is selecting Red Death due to his high health and speed which should be enough to obtain all the necessary items in time and stay alive until the end.
