Can't find Grim Grimoire

On about the 2nd run ever I found the Magic Banger in the Inlaid Library, where, according to the wiki, the Grimoire is supposed to be. I've checked all Maps and there are no green arrows anywhere. My current progression is about Capella Magna / Yellow Sign found.

Make sure you have the arrows enabled on your map, assuming you have the map to begin with. Otherwise, it's due left, protected by a ring of enemies. You shouldn't miss it unless you have so much particles and effects on screen you don't seen anything anymore, but at your level of progression that shouldn't be a problem. It is relatively far though, if memory serves.

I've played through Inlaid Library again. No green arrow, guide arrows enabled, I walked all the way to the west until the eastmost item (silver ring), didn't find the grimoire.

Ok, I'm going to ask a silly question but are you sure you haven't already picked it? Because it does get indicated by a green arrow, and it's about halfway before you reach the first tome. If you went to the silver ring, you went too far. It's on the north side.

I don't see anything in the Pause menu regarding grimoire and I don't have the Steam achievement

Ok, for some reason 0.7.220 was isntalled the whole time. Reselected Proton 8.0 again, it downloaded 1.5, I think this is solved.

@Vepro, thanks a lot, I had the same problem and it was driving me nuts, almost completed the game only to find out I was also stuck at 0.7.220-EA.
