Laurel
I'm having trouble getting this to level 8, any suggestions?

play some more of the game without focusing too much on the laurel. by focusing on the laurel you're starving yourself on damage which makes you miss out on exp. Upgrade some weapons first, then take the laurel later when you're starting to swim in experience.

Your issue with getting Laurel to level 8 is it only going to level 7.

The problem is, it stops at level 7 and I never see it pop up again. I'll try again.

Are you referring to limit breaking? Laurel can't be boosted by it, only it's evo can.

Everything is okay. I was able to unlock the Crimson Shroud.
