Muramasa health drain
Anyone know how high recovery do I need to heal back the drain muramasa deal? Thinking about a silly build with scorej-oni

When using Tome on a character with average attack speed, armor and regen, maxed out cooldown, armor and health regen from upgrades as well as maxed out Pummarola and Metaglio Left you'll still die to Muramasa albeit very slowly. The heart procs from Muramasa ought to suffice at that point to keep you healthy.

Also note that the damage is only dealt to you when the weapon attacks, meaning that lower cooldown will increase the rate at which you'll get hurt.

Furthermore, the health loss counts as an attack and will proc Laurel, draining it's charges.

The drain is per attack? Ah ♥♥♥♥...another dead build as soon as disco of gold stops too long :/
Thanks man
Sarabande of Healing is good when going for a Murasama build as it basically negates the downside. That being said, Murasama doesn't do nearly enough damage even with Slash to justify ever using it and the for gameplay purposes completely worthless Stone Maks. Well, if you're using Sarabande of Healing in conjunction with Disco of Gold I GUESS you get +50% damage to the healing pulse per coin.

Seriously, you'd expect a weapon with two such horrendous downsides, one of which requires massive resource investment to counteract, to be a wrecking ball but nope, it gets bodied by literally every other weapon in the game in both utility and/or damage.

Yeah, I think they should add something else, like an aoe attack of retaliatory damage, this way you could have a health boost with divine blood and after some time you could use it without having to search for chicken.

I my opinion muramasa is fun with sarabanda and disco arcanas. Plus evolutipns of onion and whip

Originally I plan to use murasama just to proc lightning ring, while technically it works (screen filled with lightning), it also doesn't work because I am slowly dying (murasama hardly can finish any mob, and not even wicked season sky rocket luck could help it proc), thus a silly scorej-oni build.
Sigh, guess only golden egg can solve this lol...
The additional Lightning Rings Scorej-Oni gets fire based on your cooldown so you can just limit your weapons to one and go for Silent Sanctuary with Tome. It gets extra hilarious with Twilight Requiem.

I had some fun with doing that, sealing Thunder Loop and getting myself Lightning Ring via level up. Nearly beat Bone Zone that way but died in the last few minutes because I upped Curse too much.

Wait what? Isn't it proc only when damaged? Even the description says so (fires when losing health).
But yeah, it gets real crazy with twilight requiem, tbh I feel this arcana is required in inverted, as amount is never enough.
The rings fire both independantly and when you take damage.
