Banish not removing the option to limit break?

So I started with a character who had a bonus I liked, but dont want to use the weapon, Sigma is a good example. I dont want to use the sword, but want to test a build, or just play around. I banish the sword immediately, but once I get all of my other gear, the sword starts to show up again as in the limit break.

Is this a bug? Is there a way to banish something from the limit break? I dont want to have to click the option every time, I want to use random, but I dont want the game to constantly upgrade a weapon with a single point that was banished.

You need to unlock the "Seal" ability, and not "Banish", to permanently stop the game from offering you an item you do not want. Although I don't think it works with a character's starting weapon.

Yeah I have seal, im trying to play around with Old Silent Sanctuary builds, but I havent got enough banish on anyone who has an item I want to play around it with, to fully banish everything.

There is no way to stop weapons from showing up in the limit break menu.

So far the only character I can think of who you can play around with with Silent Old Sanctuary builds in the sense you want to do would be with "Random", you know Question Mark dude.

The best you can do is use Sigma and use only one other weapon (her default plus the one you want to test out). Until/if we get unlimited banishments for all characters, that's the best you can do.
