Golden Egg not working?

Hello there!
I've recently added about 200 golden eggs and I just realized none of my stats have changed. Tried the basics like restarting the game, making sure it's updated blahblah. All my stats are the default standard on the character with the +200 eggs.

Any idea why they aren't working? Doesn't display changed stats on the Start-Screen or the in-level stat window.

Possibly stupid question, but have you made sure the Eggs box in the bottom left when selecting a character is checked? That's about all I can think of.
