What does gemini mean by "Comes with a counterpart"?

I noticed that the drop that makes you breathe fire shoots behind as well when you have gemini, but what does it do for the other listed weapons?

you get a bonus weapon that acts similarly to the base weapon, eg. the gemini version of the guns shoot 4 projectiles at fixed angles, like the base versions, but at different angles so you get better screen coverage. I haven't played with them enough to tease out whether or not they upgrade alongside their counterparts or not, though.

The Arcana gives you a duplicate of each of the listed items. For example Ebony Wings will have a clone of it. And if you get both Ebony Wings and Peachone, you'll end up with four birds circling you. And ones Ebony and Peachone evolves into Vandelier, the previous clones will remain as is.

They don't take up any slot/s at all.

Yes if you take that card its quite good to try for 2x birbs, 2 x guns, and kitties. Its basicly like having 3-4 extra free weapons really.

It helps Vandalier stay relevant with the power creep, lets you still have the effect of the guns after evolving, and allows you to evolve the cats without making them legit worse than the unevolved form.

the evolved form is good if you are farming gold. but I now have 100% so I'm familiar at this point lol.
