OK, let's start with; what's the last stage you've unlocked? We don't know where you're up to, so we don't know how to advise you to progress.

If you mean Bat Country, you have to wait until update comes out on February 9th. Probably sometime around 1 pm Eastern if it comes out during the usual Steam Release Timeframe.

My guess is you're new. The only thing I can say is keep doing the same stage over several times. You get gold randomly on the stage, and for leveling items up to start. As you gain more gold, spend it on upgrades in the main menu. Don't buy new characters yet, hold off on that.

There should be an Unlocks menu that shows how to get certain stages. When Bat Country comes out, it should show you that unlock method, too.

You need to reach level 80 in Mad Forest's inverse mode to unlock Bat Country.
