Mirage Robe Evolution Bugged?

I've gotten the Mirage Robe and the magnet maxed out and it still won't evolve. Grabbing a chest just forces coins on me. Is it bugged at the moment?

Have you maxed out everything? It's one of the evolutions that requires you to get both the weapon and the item to the last upgrade first (so, 8 and 5 for these), then pick up a chest to evolve it.

Everything was maxed out. To the point that the chests were only giving bags (i.e don't even do the popup window). Turns out it was just RNG messing with me. After three coin chests, I got the evolution.

If you were doing endless or just got both maxed out very early, it's absolutely possible that you just didn't get evolution-allowed chests for a while.
As far as I'm aware and have experienced, if a chest can allow for an evolution and you meet the requirements for it, it WILL give you the evolution, no rng involved at all.

You probably got distracted by all the fake chests running around randomly and couldn't click the real chest. ◕‿↼

I also have the same issue, did you manage to find a solution to get mirage robe to evolve, So Far I've tried: maxing out all the upgrades/ with Babi-Onna (doesn't work), using another survivor with Mirage Robe selected and Maxing out everything (doesn't work), just using Mirage Robe with Babi-Onna by itself with no other weapons and maxing out all passive items (doesn't work).
