Controller support? Play with one hand?

So here's the thing, evening I usually take 30-60 mins for my baby to fall asleep in my arms. In the meantime I usually watch videos with bluetooth headhones, but I'm getting bored of it, and was thinking of playing something that is easy to pick up and play, has short sessions and is hopefully playable with a controller, ideally with just the control stick and maybe 1-2 buttons that I can map to the shoulders.

The game itself looks fun, but how are the other things like controller support on this PC version?

This game is great to play one handed! I should know as I mostly do so given my right side is partially impaired after surviving a stroke. Your movement is handled by your gamepad's analog stick and you only have to Press the A button, XBox Controller, every time you have to choose a level up upgrade.

I only use my right hand to play on the mouse, sometime's I use my left to hit esc and pause the game. Be warned this game is addictive.

I'm a stroke survivor myself and it's my left side that partially impaired.

i play the whole time with controller as this way I can just sit back and do most of the stuff with left hand (still need to press A to confirm stuff)

Use steam big picture mode and you can absolutely one hand a controller the game auto combats and late game when your build is so obscene its mindless you can legit tab out if you want to so theres no issue or demand for like intense reflexes
