Why is it made so hard to reset progress?

But there are many guides because many people do it. Need to delete files in 3 different spot and turn off steam cloud save. Some of the files are hidden too.

For real, why is that so hard? Why developer do not do a this function?

Doesn't work... unless you also delete the game's Save Data files, which is what you really need to reset your progress. And don't forget to temporarily disable Steam Cloud Saves as that'll just restore your old save too.

Delete your save files (or move them in case you want to go back to them), then disable Steam's cloud saves, then start the game.

For people who don't know how this sort of thing works, it is. We're a long way away from the times where knowing how to navigate a folder structure was necessary to use a computer, and while it's nice that a lot of things are automatic it DOES mean that people who are used to having automatic functions no longer have any reason to learn how to do things manually.

With cloud save turned off delete the save data in C:\ Program Files(x86)\ Steam\ userdata\ "bunch of numbers"\ 1794680\ remote

While the process of resetting progress is surprisingly involved, it only take a second or two to google for it and get the answer, much less time than posting this thread and then complaining about it.

For some reason the devs can implement a simple delete file function in game.

I have asked how to delete the game since it was in early access but even when following instructions and disabling cloud, my save is always the same.
