Report a translation problem
The map border "Thin Black lines" have always been there ever since they added the event to "propetly unlock" MissingN".
They are even present in Mt. Moonspell, the recently added DLC map to show the player the map's actual edges. In Green Acres however they do tell you where the map's edge is, but only as a refernce to show you where to trigger the MissingN unlock event.
And since you are looking up Youtube videos to guide you. I would suggest you go look up the one Dex put up. Here let pull it up for you...

...at around three minutes, twenty seconds Dex opens up the minimap and you can clearly see the lattice of thin lines I was referring to.
