Help, it's dark down there! (Gallo Tower Secret Advice?)
So I did a rather lengthy inverted "endless" run on Gallo tower, to try and reach the bottom. With the help of super items and Game Killer, I was at no risk, so I wanted to find the secret... and went downwards till the timer ran over 90 minutes. While I did find a Super Candy Box II Turbo, it seems I did not find the secret at the "bottom" of Gallo tower, based on some other commnents, I clearly over-shot since it sounds like it should be findable even without being endless. Did a second run, not inverted, but still couldn't find... whatever it is I'm supposed to find (and probably kill or collect, with how this game works).

What am I even looking for and how "dark" is it generally when you find it? Been trying to get this thing for a while and... I'm at the point to need some outside help because I don't understand what I'm missing.

Your target spawns in the middle of a 'room', so trying to stay pretty central and heading down the middle (tightly around to one side of the central pillars you have to move around) is the best way I've found to consistently run right into it. The boss enemy is a round orb of red tendrils with a small person sort of attached to it. It's easy to run past if you're moving too fast or if you're going back and forth, but if you see it it's very distinct, even with how everything outside of your little ring of light is completely dark at that point.

Just jump on someone fast and zoom down. The area gets very noticeably darker when you hit the right area, immediately slow down when that happens so you don't miss it. Thats basically it.

It's a character, I think Leda? They appear as an enemy and once you defeat them you can choose them as a new character to play as. They look kind of like Granfaloon/Legion's ball form from Castlevania with the top half of a person on top. (I spoiler tagged in case you don't want the name or look of the character spoiled)

Pretty easy to walk past them and miss them altogether, I ended up having to examine each "segment" of the tower carefully once it started getting really dark down there.

Thanks to each of you! That should be enough to go on by for now.

And unlike other bosses and enemies, this is one of the few that does NOT rubber band to you if you run past it. So once you run past it in the darkness, odds are likely you will never know it until the next run. So after the screen goes completely black, keep track of the pentagrams you pass or just keep going back and forth left to right. I think the boss shows up around the 3rd or 4th one.

Step 1: Endless Mode on normal gallo tower (not inverse, it's going to be hard enough already)

Step 2: Build your character to survive

Step 3: In conjunction with 2, start heading down the tower

Step 4: It's getting dark! Good, you're getting close

Step 5: Watch the runes on either side of the tower, when you're in the right spot, they won't be gibberish anymore and say something interesting

Step 6: Slow down and look, as others have said this secret boss is VERY slow and doesn't rubberband, If you pass them, they won't follow. Also it's supremely dark, like you can't see five feet past your character

Step 7: If suddenly the lights come on...you did one of two things 1. Passed them entirely (keep going down AGAIN and do it over again) or 2. You beat them. You might have gotten a little jingle telling you so

Step 8: If you think you got the boss, exit out, and check your secrets

Congrats!

One thing I did forget to mention for those who come after us, the music! Turn the music on, and listen to it. When it goes dead quiet, start going side to side as you go down. By the time you get to the 3rd or 4th pentagram you should find or have found what you are looking for, simply put, you'll know it when you find it!
