Highest level you’ve achieved?

I managed to get to level 201 using Sir Ambrojoe on the Dairy level. Crown + Pentagram and Limit Break along with the Red Cloak and La Borra / La Robb’s carried this run, even managed to kill Death and get to 31 mins. Personal best so far.

What do you need to do ascend this kind of run?

Queen sigma and eggs are basically cheats. You can't compare with those. 200 with toastie is an official challenge signalling that 200 is S tier level.

You mean Toastie ALSO WITHOUT Arcanas is an S Tier Challenge seeing as arcanas are also somewhat of a cheat in their own right :P

Arcanas are not post-game rewards like eggs or queen sigma. Queen Sigma you get as a "you are god now" after you have completed everything and eggs are eggs. Obviously broken depending on how much you have farmed them. The game literally breaks if you have too many eggs. I don't consider arcanas cheats at all but just another level of upgrades.

I guess if you want the authentic Toastie challenge you would limit yourself the the arcanas that existed when she was released, but this topic is about level not Toastie specifically and I only mentioned Toastie because she has the 200 level requirement.

Level 401 in Dairy, with the character that starts with the laurel, it's still sitting there playing on my other screen.
A really random selection of weapons got me here with the most valuable addition being the Arcana to pull all the map rewards to you every two minutes and the rules for endless and continuing weapon evolution.
Bones (75), Cookies (82), Knives (78), Rune Tracer (60), Cloak from evolving the Laurel (47), and Ring from evolving the lancet (3).
Trinkets: cloak x 2, orb, candelabrador, clover, armour, glove (speed), rings x 2, wings.
I died once early on, but as soon as I got the evolutions I just parked on one of those sigils that trigger an enemy circle and check back every hour or so. 252 minutes so far... bored and thinking of quitting the run... 87K gold.

Personal record here is about 2000 with gains boros since getting more exp per level up basically rockets him to the stratosphere that 1000+ in a normal stage is pretty easy

iam using wicked season ,gold rush and that arcana that boost crit on his weapon . its ridicilous

Tbh once you get 100k eggs or more 3-4k level runs in a hour as the norm

iam using wicked season ,gold rush and that arcana that boost crit on his weapon . its ridicilous

even without eggs (because i think mine is like 100 or so eggs if i cared to have them on which is still pretty minor boosts compared to his level up and wicked season) gains boros was capable of hitting 1000+ but yeah he is the only one able to hit stupid high levels without eggs that isn't sigma otherwise yeah i think best i had was like 300 or so (prior to endless and inverted modifiers)

My record is about 1.7m (Sammy, no eggs). Without Sammy, I've also gotten roughly 250k with Queen Sigma.

depends on high end settings . sigma can level up endlessly due to raising exp stats, other characters will eventualy hit a cap barely level up at one point even with 4 seasons arcana
boros can level up fast. much much faster then sigma if you farm thousand of eggs on him initial 30 mins
