Cant evo?

I dont know. I finally bought the game the other day and out of all the runs I ever did in the past 4 days of no lifing-- I only ever managed 2 evos at any given time, sometimes it refuses to just drop one and I'll have the levels on the combinations I want.
What gives? Is it a chance thing? a bug?

Evos are guaranteed as long as you have the weapon, the passive, and chest is dropped from a boss past 10 minutes (there's a few exceptions to this)

The exceptions are the bat from minute 1 on the first level and any boss on the 3rd level can give evos from their chests.

There's a few evos that aren't a weapon and passive but a majority of them are.

The best thing is to level weapons as much as possible except for grabbing a combo you want. IE dont fill out your weapon slots too fast. The more you level the more chances you get at finding a evo combination item. Also check your unlocks for rerolls for when the game forces you to pick a new item. Though getting more then 4 evos unless you have unlocked a ton of rerolls is uncommon.

Go dairy plant if you want evo from the first chest. Plenty enough chests to evo all weapons on any level though.
