Toastie on steam deck

I've been trying for hours to unlock toastie but it just doesn't seem to work. I've seen his icon pop up once and I have Exdash so it should be working.

I've been farming the green reaper in Dairy, but according to the bestiary I've killed him only once despite multiple kills with the pentagram evolved and carts.

I've mapped the back buttons to down and enter which I'm mashing every time. Doesn't seem to work...

For a great on deck game I've needed to jump through a lot of hoops in the end game. Couldn't unlock Exdash with the input in secrets either, needed the onscreen keyboard.

So, did something change for controller input for Toastie?

I have the same problem, nothing works, I've killed the stalker more than once, I also try to put the Exdash code and it just doesn't work

Unlock it on PC then go back to deck, or use the cheat scroll
