Is there an end?

Is there an actual definitive end of this game? Or is it just grinding achievements out on the 4 main levels and 4 bonus levels?

If you reach a certain level in a stage (20 for the first one, 40 for the second one etc.) you'll unlock the next one, and if you survive 30 minutes on a stage, you'll 'complete' it and unlock a hyper version of it.
But yeah, it's an arcade game, so in that way there isn't really an 'end'. There's endless mode and stuff like that, but there are certain boundaries.

Yes there is, try getting the Greatest Jubilee item to basically unlock the ending.

It is on a new special stage. There are instructions in the patch notes for 1.0 of how to access it if you want to right away.

On opening the game, you should automatically get the new Achievement "The Eudaimonia Machine". If not, make sure you're not missing any relic from 0.11, then enter and exit a run. The achievement will unlock a new event stage.

Unlock all relics in the game and a bonus stage called Eudamonia M will appear

There is an end and I am sad I reached it.

Ok So I have 4 normal levels and 4 bonus ones. I do not have Eudamonia M, what to do to get to it?

Ok I apparently have a few relics. Like I have mindbender which is supposed to let you have as many weapons as you want. but the game still only lets me have 2 rows of weapons. How do I USE the relics?

Relics are permanent items that unlock new mechanics and features once collected. They are very similar to stage items as they are simply spawned on the map and are collected upon touching them. Once collected, they are permanently added to your collection and do not appear again. Until picked up, their locations are indicated by green arrows once you enter a stage that contains them.
