Once you get used to the faster pace, you will never be able to play slowmode again.
Definitely worth the money, this developer's a real gem. Also to answer OP's question, it's a preference thing. Technically the difficulty goes up cuz' mobs are faster (and we all know what that means come one of those waves where unless your DPS is up to par there's literally nowhere to go cuz' you're surrounded 24/7), but realistically, it's just faster gameplay.
Bone Zone and Boss Rush can be quite challenging especially if you dont have an optimized build.
