Question about Gracia’s Mirror

I choose the option that this game was too hard and got the "seventh trumpet" before being booted back to the main menu. Now the stage is gone from the list. What is the requirement to get the stage to appear again? Did I permanently lose my ability to get the mirror?

start and quit a new run. stage will reappear. You might have to select the new option that was unlocked by obtaining the mirror, or not, I don't remember.

Start a new run as any character, in any stage.(I went with the forest since it's the first on the list. Doesn't really matter afaik.) Unsure if you have to activate the new option you unlocked by getting the Seventh Trumpet, but you may as well activate it anyway to be sure. Then end the run, either by playing it out or just quitting through the options menu as soon as you can.

Then you should see the stage in the selection screen again and it'll let you pick the other option. Once you do that, repeat the process by starting a new run with the other new mode active on a stage, and end it any way you want again.

The secret stage should be back in the rotation again. This time start it with a character you feel confident fighting a boss with. If you succeed, check the Secrets menu for one last thing you can do for a special unlock. :)

Start new level, with new unlock activated, quit out mission will reappear.

Nothing is working. I tried starting and quitting then I tried completing a match all the way. The stage isn't showing up.

Edit: Thank you @ Metal Izanagi for the detailed reply. I DID have to enable endless mode first. After quitting a run it appeared. Appreciate it!
