Since i didn't used infinity corridor. It will took you a good amount of time to kil the reaper guarding the piano and the boss itself. But at least it worked out. (I am using pavone, so i basically had all friends with me)

I need serious help. I can't get the monster I am supposed to kill to spawn. I have been trying with the queen, the birds, evolved loreal, evolved clock lancet all day. I camp the first two pianos after the gold ring and he never spawns. what am I doing wrong?

Queen sigma with the infinite corridor and cloak, divine bloodline as one of your starting 3 arcana and should be nigh impossible to be killed after the 15 minute mark

Would using Gemini let you evolve the birds, since it means you still have multiple?

For the boss. Can just pin between a shelf and kill. Takes quite awhile.

For reaper penta kills him. Otherwise movespeed. IC is very helpful for how tanky everything is.

I would like to know as well. I'm at 688%/738% movespeed, and have been going hard-right for 17:52 in-game now. I'd like to know if anyone else would've seen them at this point, and I've killed him off-screen, or if I likely need to keep going.

You definitely went too far and/or didn't do the things right.


The method to unlock the character is:

- Go to the Library, with the Inverted mode active.

- Get Peachone and Ebony Wings on your character. I used Queen Sigma since she has 100+ rerolls, and just rerolled until I got Peachone for my first level-up, then rerolled until I got Ebony Wings on my second. You could also take Cosmo if you prefer him, since he starts with the two birds.

- Don't evolve Peachone/Ebony Wings. Banish one of them at their last level so they can't evolve.

- Go to the right. When you get near the relics, stick to the top of the screen until you're just past them so you don't activate their guardians. They'll just be annoying during the rest of this since they'll have 200% HP from Inverted mode being active, though if you're crazy powered up from eggs you can probably wipe them right quick anyway.

- A few screens past the relics you'll find a purple Death hanging out at a piano. He'll summon the exploding banshee things constantly but won't otherwise attack you, so just circle around him until he's dead.

- Go up to the piano. Piano keys will appear onscreen and Peachone and Ebony Wings will appear in turns, flying to a key and disappearing. Click each key that they disappear at, and the stage music and lighting will change, plus new enemies will appear. Follow the arrows to each of the coffins that are spread around where you are, and open them. Once you touch all of them, a boss will appear. Defeat it and the run will end on its own a few seconds later, with a new character and weapon unlocked.

Just one VERY important thing that was not said: you need to kill the new final boss in the new stage (forgot the exact names) BEFORE you try to unlock the new character. If not, the purple Reaper will never spawn.

I've lost a couple of hours to this.

Gotten to the point where I've opened the coffins twice now and the new boss just doesn't spawn and I'm left with no option but to quit the run because there are no enemies and the timer is frozen.

happened to me too. i suspect pentagram as the issue.

Happened to me and I only had fireworks and the birds
