Save Data Location

Its been a while since Ive played this. If I remember correctly this game used to have local save files. has that changed recently? Am I gonna have to use steam cloud? I prefer local save files that I back up once in a while, steam cloud can have issues thats why I prefer local saves. Does anybody know if there is a local save folder and where it is located?

If Im not mistaken isnt that the cloud save location in steams userdata\remote folder? I was wondering if the game uses any local save folder. It would be preferable since I usually play with cloud and internet tuned off.

If you are offline this will still be saved locally at that location so progress will not be lost. It will upload next time you go online with Steam open.
