How do you "Master all 16 accessories in Moongolow"?

I unlocked the secrets menu and tried doing this thing with the 16 accessories but it won't work for me. What exactly do they mean by it? From my understanding, you pick up all the 16 items on the floor and fully level them up. Or is there something else to it?

My guess is, since the death kills you at the end of the run, you lose all your Tarigisu lives so it only counts as 15 items in the end? How do I prevent that?

Your guess is exactly right. You prevent that by quiting once you upgraded them all.

You don't finish the run.

i figured it out by mistake was doing my run after work and decided to quit and do it the next day

Pretty sure it's just an overlooked thing that should be fixed. Who knows though.

The hint is in *Escape* Moonglow. Gotta level the items up, then get outta there before death arrives.

That's why you have to quit out.

If you do this early on, pick a character with a strong weapon. Poppea (song of mana) is good. If you have the disco of gold arcana, use it. Moonglow is the best early money farm. If you have Banish, pick up whatever weapons that rolls and banish them later so they don't keep popping up in chests etc.

Easiest way to do this is with Gains with Waltz of Pearls arcana, pick up Duplicator Crown and Attract Orb early and it should go smoothly with extra levels to spare

I just did with Marribo, I had all the accessories at lvl five.

I only used the whips evolved and the knives, with a pentagram I accidentally picked up, and it still didn't unlock the secret....

What do I need to do?
