Too fast to pick up chests and accessories...

So I have bought around 20k eggs on big trouser. Every run I get a ton of gold, I'm farming... it's all good but...

I have over +900% movement speed and my character is too fast. Every tiny key press he moves a lot either horizontally or vertically.
So much in fact that when the screen is very cluttered I have a hard time picking up chests and accessories as I lack the required precision to easily land on top of them. This is especially true during the latest part of the run, where the game lags a tiny bit.

Any suggestions on how I could solve this, or even just make is better?

I always play in Windowed mode and just switch focus to another window briefly and tab back to pickup my chest. Should notice your game frames start to slow when it's out of focus to know it's working. Results may vary if you haven't been apathetic/bothered to upgrade as I have.

Nothing about your controller is wrong. I play on mouse/keyboard.

Hope the new engine solves it completely or a run/walk toggle is added though.

Tabbing out work quite well. Thanks a lot for the suggestion, it helps

Considering the absurd speed bonus I can get, I'm really hoping for a walk toggle though.

I don't think he should solve for problems created by players that have broken their games purposefully. There's already a toggle. Turn off eggs.

It wont, it'll fix the issue if your walk speed is low enough but for full egged farming character? Not a chance even with a controller.

Eggs are explicitly a "use at your own risk" optional feature.

You can move at less than 100% speed with the mouse. Click and lightly drag.

New Engine? I am intrigued. That put me in a good mood too. Had a horrible shift at work - people can't show up on time, can't do their job when there. But at home some Vampire Survivors and 7am whiskey makes life right again.

I don't think you're expected to farm gold coins at all to that extent. You broke your own game. The solution is to turn off eggs. You can also remove golden eggs if you have more than 5,000 Golden Eggs in Moonglow. Head to the void south of the stage, and 100 Golden Eggs will be removed from your character.
