Need help with Cappella Magna
I don't know what to do in the new stage. I don't do enough dmg. the monsters keep getting stronger and stronger. And I just run from them barely killing anything. Whats the strategy ? which vampire should I use and which weapons ? what to do next after dealing with the blue death at min 5 ?

I'm very frustrated :((((

Ideally by the 5th stage you should have ALL permanent power ups maxed out. Ideally you want to have had access to the bonus stages and unlocked some of the better characters.

5th stage came out after golden eggs, so i carved through it with a 300 egg pugnala.

If your new, and i'm assuming you are, maybe work on getting antonio (the first character) to lv99 on the 2nd stage to unlock his arcana and then select it for the 5th stage so you always have +3 amount and with the power up and looting a duplicator and leveling it, you'll have +6 of most weapons.

Amount is the god tier of stats, sure having 85% cooldown is cool but flooding the screen with weapons multiplies your dps.

For the blue death at least, there are three pre-placed rosaries on the map you can use to kill him, as well as the yellow reaper you encounter earlier on.

Don't forget to spend your gold on Power-ups. If you're having trouble with damage, Pugnala's a good choice given her infinitely scaling Might.

What is your typical build and what are the typical characters you play? This info would help people here with suggestions.
You have made it to the 5th stage, so you have, probably, unlocked quite a few weapons and characters, but without knowing what you are using it is hard to say exactly what you need to do.

If you are struggling on that level, try reducing or removing any curse power ups you have. Also, avoid any characters that start with bonus curse.
Cross, Axe, and Runetracer are decent weapons to start with.
Passives like Empty Tome, Candelabrador, and Spinach are good passives to take.
As someone else said, try using Pugnala, she is a pretty strong character and has some very good starting weapons.

finally manage to do it with Pugnala. just focused on lvling early instead of wandering around. manged to get the guns evolved pretty early which helped a loooot.

Pugnala was my early take as well, did it with Pasqualina after - blue reaper is the worst. Also had to do some microing as I still had the "everything comes to you" arcana slotted which helped a lot.

if you have trouble with other characters i recommend a more defensive setup with garlic, runetracer and king bible and for damage fire wand with the explosion arcana or santa water. you can also go axe and whip with with the crit arcana they grant solid damage and good healing. in general it's good to level up a bit before moving around to much. After the 11 minute mark you should have 2 arcanas and at least 1 evolution and should be able to move around more freely. you can allways throw in laurel and/or clock lancet in the defensiv slots but find it a bit boring since so many rounds play out the same way. oh and of course don't forget about the rosaries on the map the come in handy for the reapers.

Can blue, green, and purple deaths be killed with normal damage, or is it Pentagram, Gorgeous Moon, and Crucifix only?

I think on this stage you can kill all of them with regular weapons.

You can kill them with normal weapons on this stage. The only one I use the crucifix for regularly is the Drowner (Blue) because it can be a pain if it blocks off your ability to collect chests or items on the map. Once you have enough eggs though, even the Drowner is rather easy to kill with normal weapons. If you're playing with eggs off or on a character with just base stats the crucifixes do make killing them a lot easier, but as long as you don't have too much curse the green one shouldn't be much of a problem and the purple one is never a problem for me, even without eggs or a crucifix. The green one can be an issue if he gets enough speed buffs from curse that he is faster than you, but generally that's only an issue with large amounts of curse.

Yeah, the 3 starting Crucifixes are definitely useful. The first one below the start for the blue one, the next one down for the green one, then the third one for the purple or normal damage, depending on the Arcana you take. If you take Mad Groove it's hard to not accidentally pickup the third Crucifix when it gets pulled to you with everything else.

It took me several tries but I finally finished the zone and got the new character from it using Clerici (Starts with Santa Water) and Pentagram. I can't remember exactly which other skills I had, I think maybe Axe and Magic Wand, Fire Wand and Clock Lancet? I did die at 29:29 so didn't quite get to the end, but I got the unlocks I needed (new vampire character, kill new level's boss for hyper mode))

There is a lazy way of killing it via Rosary. Get the arcane that vacuums all the items to you every 2 minutes. By the 4th minute, you should have a couple of rosary found on the ground without having to move much. Just pick it up when the blue death spawns. This way you can just traverse a little rather than venturing out to find one

I've never even thought of using the Rosaries on the field to kill off all the reaper enemies. I usually ended up getting things like the Knife or Santa Water to kill the Drowning Reaper. Surprising consistent, though I believe he goes faster after 10 minutes, so you want to clear it asap.
