How do i deal with the blue skull guy in stage 5?

So i probably just suck or something at the game but he always ends up speeding up and ending my run. Should i just keep running upwards or stick near it and try to kill him?

South of where you start are three rosaries. Pick one up when it spawns to kill it.

get rosary

Weapons like Phieraggi and Runetracer can also hit him and kill him the old fashioned way, but his HP is going to be very bulky so an instant kill is the easiest way. As stated, the map provides 3 free Rosaries for the 3 extra reapers, though only the Drowner tends to be an issue, and the other 2 are easily (if slowly) kited and killed by conventional means.

And if you are fast enough, you can easily outrun the flood he leaves behind. Even after he speeds it up.

There is a green reaper in stage 5 sooooooooooooooooo don't stand still.

Kill him with a rosary at the 5 minute mark and he won't show up after that.
