Reaper died stage 5. No read death

I had the reaper die on stage 5 but didn't unlock red death. Has it happened to anyone else?

Are you sure it was the Red Death at the end you killed?

There are multiple variation of Death in the game. The only one that will unlock Mask of Red Death character is kill the death at the 30 minute mark

Yes, it was. I killed the red reaper from thirty minutes mark and the silver reaper showed up. Didn't get red death. Tried again with same character and same basic build on inlaid library and unlocked him. Don't know why it didn't the first time

red death does act differently on stage 5, has a massive never ending wave of mini deaths, could be different rules.
