How do you stop it? ... I have to walk North non-stop because of that guy, never had that problem in previous stage, he always disappear after a while.

The cross pick-ups that are likely to be nowhere near the player, if not actually underwater, unless you know it's coming and are specifically camping them to kill the Drowner when it pops up, to the exclusion of all other pickups on the map?

In the first run, the Blue Death can be a deadly surprise yes. But when you know that he spawns way below you at the 5min mark, you can easily adapt with the 3 cross pickups and he becomes a non-issue imo

The evolved Santa Water is a good alternative to fight Drowner since it slowly follows you, you can damage him with it if you slowly walk up-right, atleast thats how I managed to kill him.

How are people getting the Rosary to kill him? Dude ate three of them and still chased me down. Don't want to resort to Pentagram cheese, but Infinite corridor takes too long to get going even with the new arcana dragging the rings to you.

For whatever reason when it showed up, it stopped on level with my character and I just stood still and shot it until it died (playing Leda). It was a bit of a pain, since if I moved too much it would move left away from me, but I found a point were I could wiggle and get Leda to shoot at it.
