Does it bother anyone else that the Metaglio arrows are facing the wrong directions?

Metaglio Left is pointed to the right, and Metaglio Right is pointed to the left. All they would need to do is switch the spites to fix it.

Isn't it intentional? Metaglio Left is to the west and Metaglio Right is to the east.

The sprites aren't "wrong." If you get them both back to back with the with the left first on the left side and the right on the right side they combine to create a whole image of something like a wand with a red x through it. IE: The left isn't an arrow pointing right, it is the left side half of the whole combined image.

Has this been confirmed? I don't think there is an intentional image of some weird wand with an X in the middle. Even more so because, as you know, that image is only formed if you pick the left arrow first.

I took it as they were magnets, pointing to each other to indicate their magnetic attraction.

To me it clicked immediately. Putting them side by side I interpret it as you should combine them since their arrows point into the middle in that case.

I always thought to myself they are supposed to like something you would wear on your shoulders or attached to a cape (like a fancy clasp type thing) where the x is pointing towards each other/to the middle of your chest.

Look at the abrupt cutoff; not even a basic black outline like on the rest of the item. It's very clearly two halves of a whole. No other item has this visual quirk THIS prominently.

It actually looks like a brooch up close. The pin goes through the X, left to right.
