What does amount do for pentagram/evolution?

There's an arcana that increases it, but what does amount even do for this weapon?

I'm wondering about that too, also you can get amount +1 upgrade on Glorious Moon too.

Amount doesn't affect those weapon at all, and I don't think there is any arcana related to pentagram neither

You must be refering to Beginning (X) which will display the weapon you're starting with regardless of the effect actually impacting the weapon or not.
You will have the same thing with Song of Mana or Garlic

(For those coming here finding this as the #2 google result, for some reason): According to the wiki, Amount boosts how much exp the moon beams generate once evolved to Gorgeous Moon - XP Equal to the amount. (That or I'm misreading and it's moon beams equal to the amount but by the time I get this going I can't see anything on screen anymore anyways xD)
