When 11 minutes hits, immediately grab the Gold/Silver Rings, touch the two red Metaglio but discard them. After upgrading the Phierragi, you'll gain another weapon slot so I grab anything (not Pentagram) and then banish it. Do not open the 13-minute chest until you're maxed out on everything, because you need the 13-minute chest for the Infinite Corridor. You'll get four eggs from the 11-minute item/guardians, three eggs from the 14-minute guardians, and five eggs from Death plus all the gold. I was making like 50k gold at first but now I'm making like 150k.
You may not be able to kill Death at 0 eggs, but I found that by ~50 I was able to do so reliably, and it just keeps getting easier.
Moonglow is probably better to start with, but Bone Zone may be better in the long run when you have a ton of eggs on a character. Both are good, and you can always bounce back and forth between them so you don't get as bored.
My main problem with Moonglow is that 15 minute runs feel like you barely get to enjoy the phase where you're maxed out and godlike because then the game is over. So I find Bone Zone a bit more enjoyable as you'll have your build finished by 21 minutes in or so, and get a whole 9 minutes to enjoy being godlike.
Give me a 25 or 30 minute Moonglow variant and I'll be all over it.
Yeah, on the other hand however, I feel like the Bone Zone run has more "afk standing still" time, since Vicious Hunger works best if you're standing still (after enough eggs into movement speed, you start to outrun the gold trailing you). This is either a pro or a con, depending on one's personal preference. I kinda like that the Moongolow run has more "active running around" time.
Get to 30 minutes, and leave the game running overnight while you sleep.
As for playstyle, Curse is the key, the more Curse, the better, so when able (at around 50 eggs) always grab the Gold Ring and the Metaglio Right to push more enemies into the screen. Use screen snaking/jiggling to force spawn them.
The only map I'm currently aware of that spawns monsters after 30 min is Cappella Magna.
So the key to endless gold is staying alive and invulnerable after 30min on that map and not killing the various Deaths. Run around picking up gold bags for Gold Fevers... or just afk.
This only gets you 4 eggs per run, but as much gold as you care to wait for.
