King Bible => Unholy Vespers Evo bug?
Hey all,

This might not be a bug but I was ~15mins into a run and evolved KB into Vespers but was surrounded by mobs. KB was doing is razorsaw thing and holding them away but there seems to be a delay during the transition between KBs circling and the Vespers. The net result is some breaking through the circumference and wiping my run.

Seems weird given I was also running Spellbinder and had bibles spinning with no CD at all.

Just thought I'd mention it as I didn't take into account the animator transition time killing all DPS from bibles/vespers

Unholy Vespers does not include the base duration in its cooldown period, and adjusts the base stats so that the base cooldown and duration are identical, thus being constantly activated unless you somehow have a Cooldown or Duration penalty.

I have the impression that the old weapons have to 'finish' before the new evolved version can be fired.

If you evolve the Runetracer it takes a while before the explosions start.
The new Song only starts after the old Song of Mana has finished.

And so forth.

I could be wrong, but that's what I noticed.

Yeah, there's a delay between the old weapon turning off and the evolution kicking in. It happens with all of them, but it's most noticeable with the bible/vespers and can be a killer if it hits at a crucial moment.

I learnt something new - thanks very much both!

Also if you have a very large Area size then Vespers starts having gaps between the pages and the ruins which both are the projectiles. So be wary about that.

This game has such interesting theorycraft and meta. I love it!

Presumably, CD kicks in AFTER an attack tick completes? If so, having > 95% should be a two digit ms interval (perhaps tied to frame timing).

If that is the case then there should be no CD between KB finishing and UV beginning?

Or is there a global CD minimum of say, between 500ms and 1s?

Don't get me wrong not complaining, just trying to understand the mechanics a bit better

All weapons have a delay before they start after being evolved. Cooldown begins immediately after an attack begins.
