Modding guides?

Hi all, is there any info about making mods for this game? I was hoping to make custom character sprites or maybe even custom characters. Thanks in advance!

I did make one a few months ago actually, sadly the character will be removed with each update, but its nothing a copy+replace cant fix, its just a bit annoying.

its somewhat updated, there are plenty of characters in the game files which aren't released and are just a red death sprite with 0 stats and a duplicator, so you can overwrite them until they release basically.
im sure you can also make your own one but itll likely be a pain in the ass that might take sooo long to get working.

but a skin/sprite guide is linked at the bottom, combine with that with editing one of the placeholder characters in the files (or replace exdash or toastie, thats what i do cus they're garbage so might aswell)

np, i just updated it a lil, added the newer weapons into the weapon list, hope its helpful, im not so good at putting it into words, its alot easier than ive made it sound probably xD

Maybe they changed something in the last year idk
make sure you've saved it and that the file you edited is the name of the original file and not like XXX-copy or smth
