XX Arcana is just ridiciolus (-110% minimum cooldown)

My favourite build in the game relies on low cooldown. Unfortunately there weren't any arcanas that could benefit for this build, but this changed with the last patch.

With the newest XX arcana, cooldown can be lowered all the way down to -102% (if you use 2 weapons, with one it is -110%). This means, that Gorgeous Moon erases the enemies from the screen every 17 seconds.
Pretty darn satisfying. Holy Wand doesn't benefit as much, since It already is a fast firing weapon.

Power Ups I used:

Might - This is quite obvious, since I had only two weapons I needed as much damage as possible
Torrona's Box - Same reasons I mentioned above. I banished it before reaching the last level, so I didn't have to deal with 100% curse.
Speed - Makes Holy Wand much more powerful
Area - Perhaps the least important one, it makes the Holy Wand projectiles slightly more useful
Growth - Was necessary for Pentagram evolve
Cooldown - I think this is obvious

Arcanas I used:
XX - Silent old Sanctuary: This newest arcana is crucial for every cooldown based build, and also useful for those, who don't want to fill all weapon slots.
XIV - Jail of Crystal: Thanks to this, Holy Wand made a lot of freezing, making the enemies unable to reach me.
XI - Waltz of Pearls: This made the Holy Wand projectiles bounce 3 times, making even more damage, and freezing.

XII - Out of Bonds probably would have worked well too, since it goes hand in hand with XIV, maybe I will try it later.

Silent old Sanctuary looks really busted, sure you sacrifice some weapon slots but if you're shooting over x10 faster, does it really matter?

Yep, it is really op. Just finished Inlaid Library with Thunder Loop only.

Well what a perfect thread for the question I was wondering:

So it DOES work with the limit tool ?
Because the slot are marked of a red X , so I was wondering if it would still count has empty slot (and give you the bonus) or not.

Would make sense they designed the Arcana to fit the new "mode" tho' , that would give you some help for Solo Weapon run.

i only get to 100% and that's with the cooldown character.

Buying Power Ups from the Menu: -5%
Using XX. arcana with 1 weapon only: -40%
Max out Empty Tome: -40%

Yeah the new XX Arcana looks like it offers some great meme potential.

Currently doing Inlaid Library with Runetracer/NO FUTURE only at -85% cooldown. So much Pewpew.

I don't think it's super broken though. If you run curse it will quickly hit its limits. In my tests with 180% curse I could neither finish with Lightning nor Magic Staff.

Yup, the end game is so broken with every character that I love that they throw in these crazy broken things.

Cooldown is hard capped at -90%. So having -110% still only counts as -90%.

As long as you've bought the cooldown meta upgrades, almost all characters get to -85% with Silent Old Sanctuary and Tome. Which is only 5% away from the cap.

it's not broken, the fact that you can finish a level with it does not make it broken. having multiple weapons is still better. It does create lots of fun new builds though.
