There isn't any lore so aside aesthetics there isn't anything to say really.

guess you asking for the archivment it the little reapers from stage 5.
not sure if all versions count in, but at least those beyond the 30min mark.

no the wiki says its the enemies that look like your characters on stage 5 i think they spawn around min 20
