Red Death vs. Pugnala vs. Giovanna vs. Concetta vs. Poppea (Egg Dump)

Who would you dump all your eggs into? Leda is probably still the best char combat wise, but the massive negative greed multiplier makes him terrible for egg farming (same with Gallo).

So I guess it comes down to Red Death vs. Pugnalla/Giovanna/Concetta/Poppea for egg farming.

My thought has been to ignore the hidden characters

1. They may add more content later where hidden characters deny you access to said content

2. With the exception of toastie, the hidden characters can be beaten stat-wise by eggs. Their main perk at that point becomes the free evolved weapon.

My personal thought has been Pugnala, as might is the only one if the bunch that is truly uncapped (you can eventually reach the point where area and duration % become meaningless

Pugnala also leans you towards the revive books, and if for any reason that falls through you can use the arcanas for the the dual weapons.

Giovanna just no. Speed is good but limited to too few weapons, and cats can be unreliable at the start of harder maps.

I'd probably avoid putting them on Red Death, personally. While it's stats are the most inherently impressive of this list, the devs have shown in this very patch that they aren't afraid of locking the Extra Characters out of content.

Yeah true, I think Pugnala is the front runner. Scaling might is really good and he starts off with 2 really strong weapons which evolve into one of the best weapons. The problem with Pugnala is that I hate his sprite LOL... he looks kinda goofy.

I think Concetta might be a good alternative for primary egg dump, scaling AOE is good but probably not as good as might, she starts off with more curse which should lead to faster XP, her problem is that her starting drill weapon sucks and evolves only into a mediocre weapon.

I've invested 400 eggs in to Red Death. He's extremely fast and tanky which makes egg farming a breeze in both Moongolow and Bone Zone. So really if you invest in him, can always farm gold at the same time for other characters.

I like Poppea, she has the easiest start of the 1%er characters. Pugnala has potential...but her guns are actually pretty awful. Concetta is no go, I don't like micromanaging her direct attack. Giovanna might be the strongest, but I will need to test some ideas first.

Just go with whatever character you like and prefer their starting weapon. 7.5 Moonglow is the fastest egg/hour and a lot of the scaling characters aren't going to get that high of a level doing those anyway.

Some skills get rather crazy with scaling. RUNETRACER/NO FUTURE is dominating my end stats right now at 1k eggs. So Poppea might be a good choice if she is one you are considering.

at im soon at 50 speed with 300 eggs on pugnela, so rather just invest all in one and farm with that one.

i mean im only at 300 eggs and im already starting to get high level every time so i think im gonna be able to max out everything on moonglow later on.

You can, sure. What I mean is you aren't going to be getting level 240 on a hurry speed moonglow. So the % scaling of the listed characters isn't going to reach that high.

And if you are going to farm and stack a bunch of eggs, you are going to eventually break the game regardless. So better to do so on a character you enjoy instead of one you feel forced to, because of a scaling mechanic you won't even fully exploit when farming eggs.

Take crown at the start and don't level up the red items at the far left and right of the map, personally I just discard them.

You also shouldn't need a ton of levels for a bunch of attacks and passives just to finish that level. Banish any passives at level 1 which you need for evolving a weapon, but don't really need to finish. Armor for runetracer, attractorb for santa water, etc.

Pugnala because she's easily an S+ tier character at best. Starts with both guns and has an insane passive that outmatches Leda in the long run.

I'm sure most people do realize it. She dominates the leader boards for max levels. Along with a few sprinkling of Leda's at lower tiers. Nobody else comes close.

Or, that was before this patch. Now, I'm not sure how ppl will do leader boards. Will probably need to group them by egg count or something.
